Community Health Subsector Collective Agreement

The collective agreement of HSA members, who work in the health and local aid sector, is negotiated between employers and the Community Bargaining Association (CBA), which represents members of the HSA, the BC Government Employees Union (BCGEU), the Hospital Employees Union (HEU), the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), the Union of Commercial Workers and Workers (UFCW) and the Workers` Union Workers Association (ETCA). The CBA has more than 750 HSA members and the vast majority of CBA members are represented by the BCGEU, which is conducting negotiations. Please note that your 2014-2019 collective agreement must be read with your new collective agreement until your union and employer incorporate any changes into the new contract. We anticipate that the full agreement will be formatted, printed and distributed to members by the end of 2019. This agreement applies to local, clinical, municipal and administrative officials who are a critical function in our public health system. Full report for HSA members on the provisional agreement 2019-2022 – from April 1, 2019 to March 31, 2022.
